We are so excited to share our newly renovated apartment, set on the top of a hill in the suburb of Zurich City, 15 minutes away from the main station. From here, the clouds and sun dance over the distant hillsides, presenting you an ever-changing view. We strive to weave together the comfort of a home away from home and the thrill of easy access to discovering the Swiss mountains and City life. The train station is 1 minute from the house and the train takes you directly to downtown Zurich and Zug. 17 stairsteps up to the entrance, where you have a whole floor with total 4 rooms and a terrasse. 2 Bedrooms, 1 Kitchen, 1 Bathroom, 1 large terrace. Free parking in front of the house for 1-2 cars. Dog-friendly area, perfect area for walking the dog.

House rules

In Switzerland it is not allowed to make noise after 22:00 (10 pm), so please respect local law to avoid issues with neighbors or the police. Swiss people and culture tend to be strict about following rules. • According to Swiss law, all hotels and Airbnb properties are required to store visitor IDs. We must ask for your ID and fill out a form; these records are kept for 10 years. The main reason is to track people who might be in Switzerland illegally. We will not use your data ourselves. • Smoking is only allowed outside. There is an ashtray on the terrace table. Please close doors behind you so smoke does not enter the apartment. • Laundry costs 5 CHF per load for the washing machine and 5 CHF per load for the dryer. Please leave payment in the container by the machines. • A maximum of 6 people are allowed in the apartment, including any visitors. Please do not host loud events. • Clean up after yourself in the kitchen, and avoid strong or smoky cooking methods. Burnt oils or excessive odors can linger and bother neighbors. • Do not play music on the terrace or with doors or windows open; we have neighbors close by who appreciate peace and quiet. • If you bring pets, please bring a dog bed for them. Do not allow pets on beds or furniture—excess hair cleaning is a large task. Clean paws before entering, and tidy up any hair they leave. Do not leave pets alone for long if they might howl or bark. If your pets are not well-trained and could damage furniture, do not leave them unattended. We love dogs, but some owners let them do as they please, resulting in damage. • Do not leave the thermostat on 25 °C while windows are open in winter; this wastes energy. Close windows and turn off lights when leaving. • Respond within 4 hours in the chat so we can communicate reliably. We cannot instantly fix issues with the property, and you may need to use temporary solutions we provide. • Pet fee: 10 CHF per day, per pet. This platform has no built-in feature for billing pets, so we must list it here and send you an additional charge. HOUSE RULES • Quiet Hours: No noise between 22:00 (10 pm) and 07:00 as per Swiss law. Respect the neighbors and adhere to strict local noise rules. Violations may lead to eviction without refund. • ID Requirement: All guests must provide valid ID upon check-in, in accordance with Swiss law. • Smoking Policy: Smoking indoors will incur a 200 CHF cleaning fee. Respect the quiet neighborhood. • Pet Policy: Provide a bed for your pet. No pets on furniture or in beds. Clean up pet hair. An extra 100 CHF cleaning fee may apply if there is extensive fur or damage. Do not leave pets unattended if they bark, howl, or damage property. • Energy Conservation: Keep the thermostat reasonable (around 21 °C). Don’t leave it high with open windows. Turn off lights when leaving. Abuse may lead to extra charges. • Timely Communication: Respond within 4 hours to help address any issues quickly. Delays may affect our ability to assist. • Pet Fee: 10 CHF per day, per pet, billed separately. ADDITIONAL FEES AND CONSEQUENCES • Indoor smoking: 200 CHF cleaning fee • Excessive noise or neighbor complaints: Possible eviction without refund • Unauthorized guests or events: Immediate cancellation without refund • Extra furniture cleaning for pets: 100 CHF if there is excessive fur or damage BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT • No Drug Use: Illegal substances are prohibited and may lead to eviction and police involvement. • No Yelling or Aggression: Aggressive behavior or verbal abuse can result in eviction. • Adherence to Chat Agreements: Comply with special terms (check-in times, guest numbers, pet arrangements, etc.) discussed in chat. • Timely Communication for Requests: Respond quickly to host messages about important issues. • No Unauthorized Visitors or Gatherings: Only registered guests may be on the property; no unapproved events. PROPERTY AND DAMAGE RULES • Respect the Property: Damages or missing items will be charged to the guest. • Accidental Damage: Report promptly to minimize costs. • Unauthorized Access: Areas marked Private or Staff Only are off-limits. • Check-Out Policy: Check out by the specified time. Late check-outs without approval may be charged (for example, 50 CHF per hour). • Key Replacement: Lost keys incur a 100 CHF fee. • Safety and Compliance: Tampering with smoke detectors or fire equipment is strictly prohibited. • Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. • Professional Cleaning Fee: Excessive mess or stained linens may incur a 200 CHF cleaning fee. • No Third-Party Bookings: The booking guest must remain present; subletting is not allowed. • Legal Compliance: Violations of local laws or house rules may lead to immediate eviction without refund. • Waste Disposal: Follow recycling guidelines and do not leave large amounts of unbagged trash. • Windows and Doors: Secure all entrances when leaving. • Emergency Contacts: For emergencies, call our number or local services (117 for police). By booking, you agree to comply with these rules and local laws. Failure to do so may result in immediate cancellation, eviction, and forfeiture of any refund.

It was lovely staying at their apartment. It’s just beside the station so getting into the city is a breeze. There is no grocery store nearby - so definitely get your food during the day and stock it up at the apartment for later use. The apartment otherwise was pristine and perfect for a comfortable stay. It felt like home. Definitely going to stay here / recommend this place for people if I/they are visiting.

Great house, especially if you need to work while travelling. They have 2 tables that both myself and my wife were able to use to work, their Wi-Fi is very good, no issues with the online meetings that we had to do. The location is great. Although it's not inside the Zurich central area, if you take the train, you can be in Zurich very quickly. They also have a parking spot in front of the house, so we rented a car and didn't have a problem parking. The house is very cozy, and the host is very fast at responding to messages. The house has clear instructions everywhere. Great place.
